Senior Security Engineer

Job Summary

To enhance security infrastructure, the full-time Senior Security Engineer will manage the Security Observability & Data Platform, oversee endpoint security, and lead threat hunting and incident response efforts in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities

• Build and operate the Security Observability & Data Platform, including ingestion, normalization, and detection layers
• Own endpoint security by deploying and tuning EDR, configuring binary authorization, and establishing hardening baselines
• Lead threat hunting and security incident management, including triage, containment, forensics, and root cause analysis

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience
• 5+ years in security engineering, detection and response, or infrastructure/SRE with a security focus
• Experience operating an EDR and writing/tuning detections, with knowledge of macOS and Linux internals
• Hands-on production engineering experience with Linux, containers, Kubernetes, and at least one major public cloud
• Proficiency in Python or Go, with a willingness to work in Rust
