Senior Security Engineer

Job Summary

To support a growing cybersecurity practice, the full-time Senior Security Engineer will own the security of platforms, cloud environments, and AI systems, focusing on hardening container workloads, tightening cloud identity and access, and responding to suspicious endpoint alerts in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities:

• Design and defend security boundaries across cloud infrastructure, AI platforms, and corporate environments
• Build detection and response mechanisms for internal environments and secure the software supply chain
• Implement and manage security controls for identity, email, and business applications, ensuring protection of sensitive data

Required qualifications:

• 6+ years of hands-on security engineering experience, with at least 3 years in production cloud environments
• Deep experience securing workloads on major public cloud platforms, including identity and access management
• Production experience with container orchestration platforms and securing containerized workloads
• Hands-on experience with cloud security posture management and enterprise EDR/XDR platforms
• Proficiency in Python or Go for automation, tooling, and detection engineering
