Job Summary
To shape the identity platform relied upon by thousands of IT and security teams, the full-time Senior Security Engineer will design and implement core security systems, lead multi-sprint projects, and conduct security architecture reviews, all while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Design and ship core security platform systems, including request context propagation and authorization services
- Lead multi-sprint security projects, coordinating with engineering teams for successful delivery
- Conduct security architecture reviews and threat models for new products, prioritizing findings for action
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 3 years focused on security
- Proven experience designing and operating production security systems, including authentication and authorization frameworks
- Strong backend programming skills, preferably in Python and TypeScript
- Experience securing cloud infrastructure on AWS, GCP, or Azure
- Familiarity with identity protocols (OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SAML) and secure design practices
