Job Summary
To support the development of secure, scalable cloud infrastructure, the full-time Senior Security Engineer will architect and develop innovative Python-based security tools, focusing on Kubernetes security automation and CI/CD pipeline integrations while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Design and develop Python-driven security tools, including vulnerability scanners and CI/CD security gateways
- Build comprehensive Kubernetes security automation and enhance GitLab CI/CD pipelines with custom security automation
- Collaborate cross-functionally to integrate security tooling into development workflows and mentor team members on secure development practices
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of security-focused software development experience with demonstrated tool-building expertise
- Advanced Python proficiency with production-grade development using Flask/FastAPI
- Hands-on Kubernetes tooling experience, including custom security automation development
- Practical experience with Grafana dashboard creation and GitLab CI/CD pipeline customization
- Basic PHP familiarity for legacy system collaboration and modernization projects
