Job Summary
To secure and operate cloud and Kubernetes environments, the full-time Senior Security Engineer will troubleshoot infrastructure issues, implement security improvements using Terraform, and collaborate with engineering teams in a remote setting.
Key responsibilities
- Troubleshoot Kubernetes workloads and cloud services, investigating issues to identify root causes
- Ship reviewed Terraform and Kubernetes changes to enhance cloud infrastructure security and reliability
- Participate in the AI Product on-call rotation, triaging production alerts and communicating effectively with teams
Required qualifications
- Production cloud infrastructure experience, preferably in AWS, with knowledge of security controls
- Hands-on production Kubernetes experience, including troubleshooting and log inspection
- Experience authoring and deploying Terraform changes to production environments
- Production on-call or incident-response experience with alert investigation and escalation judgment
- Proficiency in Python or similar scripting languages and familiarity with monitoring/logging tools
