Senior Security Engineer

Job Summary

Focused on securing cloud infrastructure, the full-time Senior Security Engineer will manage architecture reviews, build security tooling, and lead detection and response efforts while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Act as an initial reviewer on infrastructure proposals and designs, translating security requirements into clear guidance for teams
• Build and maintain security tooling and agent infrastructure to support reviews and investigations
• Lead cloud and infrastructure incident response, working with cross-functional teams to resolve alerts and incidents

Required qualifications

• 5+ years in security engineering, cloud infrastructure, or SRE, with at least 2 years securing AWS at organization scale
• Experience in agentic development, including building and maintaining security tools and agents
• Deep knowledge of AWS IAM, including SSO models, permission boundaries, and policy simulation
• Production Kubernetes security experience, covering RBAC, workload identity, and network policies
• Proficiency in infrastructure as code, particularly with Terraform, and experience with cloud security tooling
