Senior Security Engineer II

Job Summary

Focused on enhancing security capabilities, the full-time Senior Security Engineer II will design, build, and operate automated security solutions while collaborating cross-functionally to improve the organization's security posture in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Designing and operating solutions to continuously improve and automate security capabilities
• Leading incident response efforts, including analysis, containment, and mitigation strategies
• Mentoring junior engineers and refining security documentation for the Security Program

Required qualifications

• BS/BTech (or higher) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field, or 8 years of security domain experience without a degree
• 4+ years of experience as a trusted advisor in a team setting
• 4+ years of experience coaching other engineers or analysts
• Deep knowledge of cloud IAM architectures and experience with Federated Identity tools
• Proficiency in automation tools such as Python, Terraform, and PowerShell
