Senior Security Manager

Job Summary

Managing a team of security engineers, the full-time remote Senior Security Manager will oversee the Product Security team, drive security program initiatives, and act as the incident manager while collaborating closely with engineering teams to enhance security health across the organization.

Key responsibilities:

• Manage the team's workload and prioritize high-impact security tasks
• Guide product engineering teams in owning their security health and streamline security processes
• Serve as the incident manager for security incidents and oversee operational duties in the Director's absence

Required qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in a formal security or engineering management role, including managing senior engineers
• Proven experience transitioning a security function from gatekeeper to team ownership with measurable outcomes
• Experience as an incident manager for security incidents in a SaaS environment
• Familiarity with AWS security at scale and external audits (SOC 2, ISO 27001, or FedRAMP)
• Strong background in metrics tracking and understanding their implications
