Senior Security Operations Analyst

Job Summary

Seeking a Senior Security Operations Analyst to work remotely, this full-time position will lead complex investigations, enhance SOC processes, and improve detection capabilities across cloud, identity, endpoint, and email environments.

Key responsibilities

• Lead advanced investigations to determine scope, impact, root cause, and follow-up actions across various security domains
• Operate and enhance an enterprise security stack, including SIEM and other security platforms, to improve detection and response
• Own the continuous improvement of SOC metrics, incident procedures, and playbooks while mentoring junior analysts

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of security experience, with at least 3 years in an enterprise SOC or incident response role
• Proven track record of managing complex investigations from triage to remediation
• Hands-on experience with SIEM tools, including rule tuning and investigation workflows
• Experience in improving SOC processes using operational metrics for validation
• Knowledge of cloud security, EDR, identity management, and email security
