Senior Security Operations Engineer
Job Summary
Passionate about security and automation, the remote Senior Security Operations Engineer will drive security projects, perform security reviews, and scale detection and response capabilities while reporting to the Security Operations Manager.
Key responsibilities
- Drive security projects to protect customers, brand, and employees
- Perform security reviews of infrastructure and product features to maintain high standards
- Track and drive vulnerability remediation across production and corporate environments
Required qualifications
- 6 - 8+ years in a security role managing complex cloud environments
- Deep familiarity with cloud security, particularly AWS services
- Experience with container technologies like Docker and Kubernetes
- Background in automating security tasks using SOAR tools or programming languages like Python/Go
- Knowledge of security frameworks such as SOC2, ISO, CMMC, and FedRamp
