Senior Security Software Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time Senior Security Software Engineer to join the Data Center Systems Software team, where the successful candidate will investigate product vulnerabilities, enhance Secure Development Lifecycle practices, and drive timely remediation efforts across various platforms, including HGX, DGX, and MGX, in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Investigate and reproduce vulnerabilities, assessing their exploitability and impact on affected products
• Drive timely remediation efforts with engineering owners and coordinate vulnerability disclosures
• Build automation for vulnerability triage and improve Secure Development Lifecycle practices through threat modeling and security design reviews

Required qualifications

• BS or MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of relevant software or security engineering experience
• Hands-on experience with vulnerability investigation and remediation, including familiarity with CVSS scoring
• Experience with secure development practices and security testing tools
• Familiarity with server firmware and systems software, plus experience in automation using Python or similar languages
