Job Summary
Leading enterprise information assurance and security activities, the full-time Senior Security Specialist will establish security standards, evaluate programs, recommend solutions, and ensure the functionality and security of Federal Student Aid systems in a hybrid remote environment with occasional onsite needs in Washington, DC.
Key Responsibilities
- Determine and implement enterprise information assurance and security standards and procedures
- Coordinate and improve organizational security programs while resolving security violations
- Provide technical and management leadership, establishing work plans and supervising personnel
Required Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship is required
- More than 10 years of experience in information assurance and security
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
- Senior industry professional certification such as CISSP or equivalent
- Demonstrated technical or management leadership on significant tasks or technology assignments
