Job Summary
Leading requirements gathering and process design for federal agency clients, the full-time Senior ServiceNow Business Analyst with Clearance will manage the product backlog, mentor junior analysts, and ensure compliance with federal IT standards in a fully remote setting, while being available during East Coast business hours.
Key responsibilities
- Lead client workshops to gather and document business requirements, translating them into user stories and functional specifications
- Serve as the backlog gatekeeper, ensuring user stories meet the Definition of Ready before entering sprint planning
- Develop process maps and workflows, advising stakeholders on ServiceNow best practices to avoid technical debt
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of experience as a business analyst, with at least 3 years focused on the ServiceNow platform
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field
- Proven experience in federal contracting supporting DoD, DHS, or civilian agencies
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification is required
- ITIL v4 Foundation certification (or higher) is required
