Senior ServiceNow Developer
Job Summary
To support a DHS program in the DC metro area, the full-time remote Senior ServiceNow Developer will develop and maintain applications across DHS platforms, collaborate on requirements, and support various phases of the systems engineering life cycle.
Key responsibilities
- Applying expertise in software development to solve business issues and communicate technical concepts effectively
- Designing, developing, and maintaining applications in the ServiceNow programming environment while collaborating with analysts and customers to derive requirements
- Planning and overseeing the development process, including coding, debugging, and creating documentation while ensuring adherence to project timelines
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in IT discipline
- Minimum of eight years' experience in computer programming and analysis of complex information systems
- At least five years' experience in ServiceNow programming language or environment
- US citizenship to meet contract requirements and ability to successfully complete a government-issued background investigation
- Ability to obtain a Public Trust; prior Public Trust or Security Clearance preferred
