Senior SI/PI Engineer
Job Summary
Collaborating with cross-functional teams, the full-time Senior SI/PI Engineer will perform simulations to analyze and optimize high-speed interconnect and system-level performance in server platforms, working remotely or from Fremont, CA.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct SI/PI simulations to enhance performance in server platforms
- Define design guidelines and review routing strategies in partnership with Electrical Engineering and PCB Layout teams
- Utilize industry-standard tools for material selection, trace length optimization, and design validation
Required qualifications
- Experience with SI/PI simulation tools such as Intel/AMD platform tools, ICAT, Seasim, and S2eye
- Strong understanding of high-speed signal integrity issues across PCB, cable, and system architectures
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- Proven track record of collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams
- Knowledge of design quality standards and compliance requirements for server platforms
