Senior Simulation Test Engineer

Job Summary

Owning system-level simulation testing for autonomous driving software, the full-time Senior Simulation Test Engineer will focus on virtual verification and validation while supporting development and integration teams to enhance the safety and robustness of self-driving technology.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, plan, and execute simulation test campaigns for autonomous vehicle verification and validation efforts
• Interface with Product, Systems, and Safety teams to develop verification and validation simulation strategies
• Perform in-depth analysis of simulation results, including the development of dashboards and test reports for clear communication with stakeholders

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Robotics Engineering, Systems Engineering, or equivalent with 6+ years of experience, or a Master's Degree with 3+ years of experience
• Experience with virtual testing and simulation of perception and autonomous vehicle behavior
• Proficiency in scripting with .yaml and using Python for data analysis
• Experience developing scenarios compliant with the ASM OpenScenario standard
• Familiarity with Linux environments and basic probability and linear algebra
