Senior Site Reliability Engineer
Job Summary
To support a cloud and technology company, the remote Senior Site Reliability Engineer - Technical Leader will design, operate, and scale Kubernetes platforms for highly regulated environments, ensuring high availability and security while leading reliability engineering initiatives.
Key responsibilities:
- Design, build, and operate large-scale Kubernetes platforms supporting FedRAMP High and DoD IL5 environments
- Lead reliability engineering initiatives by defining SLOs, SLIs, and error budgets while enhancing platform performance through automation
- Develop and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines and Kubernetes deployment automation to streamline application delivery
Required qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, or related fields with a focus on large-scale platform initiatives
- Extensive hands-on experience with Kubernetes platforms in production environments
- Strong experience in supporting FedRAMP High, DoD IL5, or other highly regulated environments
- Expertise in cloud infrastructure, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), and CI/CD tooling
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or Go and building observability solutions
