Senior Site Reliability Engineer
Job Summary
Owning an operational capability in a remote full-time capacity, the Senior Site Reliability Engineer will design and maintain monitoring, alerting, and backup systems for client environments, ensuring compliance with FedRAMP standards while driving automation and operational excellence.
Key responsibilities
- Own and automate operational capabilities such as monitoring, alerting, and backup and recovery for managed environments
- Design telemetry and log pipelines, service-level objectives, and escalation paths to ensure actionable alerts and continuous monitoring
- Lead incident management and serve as the senior escalation point, diagnosing issues and improving operational procedures
Required qualifications
- 5+ years in site reliability engineering, cloud operations, or managed services
- Deep operational knowledge of at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and familiarity with a second
- Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform or equivalent) and scripting (Python, Go, or similar)
- Demonstrated incident response capability and experience as a senior operational escalation point
- Professional or specialty-level certification in AWS, Azure, or GCP
