Job Summary
To support government-related projects, the full-time Senior Site Reliability Engineer will manage AWS GovCloud infrastructure, ensuring high availability and security while collaborating with engineering and security teams on incident response and performance optimization.
Key responsibilities
- Apply Site Reliability Engineering principles to maintain the performance and operational resilience of GovCloud systems
- Manage and maintain AWS GovCloud infrastructure, including EKS clusters and RDS PostgreSQL, while ensuring compliance with government standards
- Implement GitOps-based deployment workflows and support secure system design in collaboration with engineering and security teams
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in SRE, DevOps, or Infrastructure-focused roles
- Strong hands-on experience operating AWS GovCloud environments and familiarity with GovCloud-specific requirements
- Deep experience with Kubernetes (EKS), Docker, and Terraform for infrastructure management
- Experience with federal security standards such as FedRAMP and NIST 800-53
- Working knowledge of Python and Bash, with familiarity in Go for Kubernetes operations
