Senior Site Reliability Engineer
Job Summary
As the Senior Site Reliability Engineer for Volcano, the full-time remote position will own the reliability of an internal developer platform, defining SLOs, driving incident response practices, and contributing to the platform's infrastructure and automation processes.
Key responsibilities
- Own reliability for Volcano end-to-end by defining and driving SLOs, error budgets, and incident response practices
- Design and build multi-region Kubernetes infrastructure and networking for Volcano's edge deployment pipeline
- Establish deployment automation and CI/CD processes using ArgoCD, Helm, and Terraform/Terragrunt
Required qualifications
- BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience at Staff or Principal IC level in SRE/Platform Engineering
- Proven track record in building SRE or platform engineering practices for developer-facing platforms or PaaS/SaaS products
- Expertise in Kubernetes, including multi-tenant cluster design and security hardening
