Senior Site Reliability Engineer
Job Summary
Focused on enhancing production reliability within a modern hybrid infrastructure, the full-time Senior Site Reliability Engineer will manage customer-facing platform and data services across Azure, colocation, and edge Kubernetes environments while working remotely from Australia.
Key responsibilities:
- Own production reliability for the company's platform and data services across various environments
- Build and maintain the observability layer for the fleet, ensuring metrics and alerts are effectively surfaced
- Design automated recovery systems to enhance operational resilience and reduce downtime
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
- Minimum of 7 years in Site Reliability Engineering or a related infrastructure-focused role, with at least 4 years in a formal SRE position
- Deep hands-on experience operating native Kubernetes, with a focus on optimizing clusters and resource management
- Experience in increasing operational visibility through dashboards, metrics, and alerting systems
- Demonstrated ability to design and implement multi-cluster high-availability architectures
