Senior Site Reliability Engineer
Job Summary
To support a premier national healthcare provider, the contracted-to-full-time Senior Site Reliability Engineer will maintain and enhance the cloud platform, focusing on AWS or Azure DevOps, Kubernetes, and Infrastructure as Code using Terraform in a fully remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Design and implement microservices-based architecture while ensuring system scalability and reliability
- Utilize Kubernetes for container orchestration and manage monitoring, logging, and alerting mechanisms
- Mentor junior team members and conduct technology evaluations to enhance the payment infrastructure
Required qualifications
- 8+ years of experience as a cloud engineer or DevOps engineer within AWS or Azure environments
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Strong experience with Kubernetes (EKS/AKS) and Terraform for Infrastructure as Code
- Experience rearchitecting large-scale applications to cloud-native architectures
- Knowledge of payment industry standards and security best practices for containers and clusters
