Job Summary
Proactively identifying and resolving performance issues, the full-time remote Senior Site Reliability Engineer will enhance system observability, build AI-driven automations, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve the performance and reliability of Ruby on Rails applications.
Key responsibilities:
- Proactively identify, triage, and resolve performance issues
- Enhance system observability by monitoring performance metrics across Ruby, Rails, and database systems
- Build and maintain AI agents and automations to reduce operational toil
Required qualifications:
- 5+ years of Ruby/Rails experience
- 3+ years of AWS experience
- Experience with Kubernetes and profiling source code
- Familiarity with Datadog or other APM tools
- Experience in code review and identifying performance issues
