Senior Site Reliability Engineer
Job Summary
To support a client in building an SRE Center of Excellence, the contract Senior Site Reliability Engineer will work remotely for 6-9 months, focusing on establishing reliability standards, improving application reliability throughout the release lifecycle, and managing SLOs and incident responses.
Key responsibilities:
- Collaborate with application teams to implement reliability standards and templates for service-level objectives and monitoring
- Integrate production readiness checks into the delivery pipeline and manage alerting through Dynatrace and ServiceNow
- Lead the Center of Excellence alongside other SRE leaders, ensuring consistent practices and standards across teams
Required qualifications:
- Strong SRE and reliability engineering experience, including SLOs, SLIs, and DORA metrics
- Hands-on experience with Dynatrace, including RUM, alerting, and dashboards
- Proficient in CI/CD processes, Infrastructure as Code, and automated reliability checks
- Experience with Kubernetes and blue-green deployment strategies
- Proven ability to lead SRE practices and drive adoption across application teams
