Senior Site Reliability Engineer
Job Summary
Supporting the establishment of an SRE Center of Excellence, the part-time Senior Site Reliability Engineer will focus on improving application reliability throughout the release lifecycle, defining standards, and embedding them into pipelines while working remotely on a contract basis.
Key responsibilities:
- Collaborate with application teams to implement reliability standards and create templates for service-level objectives and dashboards
- Monitor and report on error budgets and SLO performance, ensuring compliance and facilitating blameless post-incident reviews
- Lead the SRE Center of Excellence by establishing consistent standards and guiding teams in adopting reliability practices
Required qualifications:
- Strong SRE and reliability engineering experience, including SLOs, SLIs, and DORA metrics
- Hands-on experience with Dynatrace, including RUM, alerting, and dashboards
- Proficiency in CI/CD practices, Infrastructure as Code, and automated reliability checks
- Experience with Kubernetes, APIs, and deployment strategies like blue-green
- Proven ability to lead teams and drive the adoption of reliability standards across application teams
