Job Summary
To support a growing cloud data platform, the full-time Senior Snowflake Administrator will design, implement, secure, and optimize the enterprise Snowflake platform within AWS environments while collaborating with various technical teams remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Administer and maintain the Snowflake platform, including databases, schemas, and data-sharing capabilities
- Design scalable Snowflake architectures to support enterprise analytics and AI/ML workloads
- Optimize performance, implement security measures, and automate deployments using Infrastructure as Code
Required qualifications
- Minimum of 8 years of database administration experience, with at least 3 years in Snowflake environments
- Strong knowledge of Snowflake architecture and performance optimization strategies
- Hands-on experience with Snowflake security, including RBAC and data governance standards
- Experience using Git-based source control and CI/CD pipelines for Snowflake deployments
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with Python or Shell scripting for automation
