Senior SOC Analyst

Job Summary

Driving the quality of outcomes in client-facing detection and response, the full-time Senior SOC Analyst will lead high-severity investigations, mentor junior analysts, and develop incident response playbooks while working remotely within the United States.

Key Responsibilities

• Leads and mentors a team of L1 and L2 incident responders in handling security incidents
• Coordinates with stakeholders during high-severity incidents and conducts advanced threat-hunting activities
• Develops and refines incident response playbooks and detection rules to enhance threat detection capabilities

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in security operations or incident response, including senior-level investigation leadership
• Proven experience leading high-severity incident response from triage through recovery
• Strong proficiency with SIEM, EDR/XDR, and SOAR platforms, including detection content writing
• Working knowledge of MITRE ATT&CK and the incident response lifecycle
• Scripting proficiency in Python, PowerShell, or Bash for automation tasks
