Senior SOC Security Analyst

Job Summary

Focused on security monitoring and incident response, the full-time Senior SOC Security Analyst will support large SOC operations, analyze security events, and create detailed incident reports while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Continuously review and correlate security event data to identify complex attack patterns and security incidents
• Perform deep-dive analysis of suspicious activities and escalate critical incidents with detailed context
• Recommend updates to SOC playbooks and workflows based on real-world investigations and fine-tune detection rules

Required qualifications

• Associate's degree in information technology or information security, or four years of relevant work experience
• 2+ years of experience with security monitoring and incident response
• 2+ years of experience with the MITRE ATT&CK framework
• Experience with the Palo Alto Cortex XSIAM/XDR platform
• Knowledge of Linux, network administration, and network design
