Senior Social Video Producer

Job Summary

Creative and detail-oriented, the full-time Senior Social Video Producer will manage the end-to-end video production process, including scripting, editing, and publishing engaging social-first content for Yahoo's lifestyle, entertainment, and news brands, while collaborating with cross-functional teams and leveraging AI tools to enhance storytelling.

Key responsibilities

• Own the video production process from concept to completion, including scripting, shooting, and editing
• Leverage AI tools for scripting and ideation to create high-engagement video content
• Collaborate with editorial teams and creators to plan and execute video coverage for major events

Required qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in video production and social programming
• Proven ability to shoot vertical, social-first videos, especially at entertainment events
• Extensive experience with visual editing tools, including Adobe Premiere and Canva
• Strong understanding of analytics and social listening tools to inform content strategy
• Demonstrated knowledge of social media platforms and video best practices
