Senior Software Developer
Job Summary
Designing and developing applications for the Homeland Security Information Network, the remote Senior Software Developer will create new features, maintain existing components, and provide production support while collaborating with a team of developers.
Key responsibilities:
- Design, develop, test, and deploy new features and enhancements for HSIN applications
- Maintain and troubleshoot HSIN components, including Drupal/PHP sites and Java/.NET applications
- Provide Tier 2/3 production support and incident resolution, while mentoring mid-level developers
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Minimum of seven (7) years of software development experience
- Strong experience with PHP/Drupal, Java, .NET/C#, or JavaScript/jQuery
- Experience with MySQL, Apache, Red Hat Linux, Git, and Atlassian Jira
- Experience developing in AWS cloud environments using Agile methodologies
