Job Summary
Focusing on Cerner-based software development and support, the full-time Senior Software Developer will lead the architecture, development, and maintenance of both standard and custom solutions in a healthcare environment.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and support custom coding solutions using Cerner Command Language (CCL) and other web-based technologies
- Lead the creation and maintenance of reports and rules within the Cerner system
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective implementation of software solutions
Required qualifications
- 2-Year Associate Degree with 6 years of relevant experience, or 4-Year Bachelor's Degree with 5 years of relevant experience, or 7 years of experience in a healthcare environment
- Proficiency in Cerner Command Language (CCL) and Discern Explorer
- Experience with web-based languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP
- Knowledge of database management systems like MSSQL, MySQL, and PL/SQL (Oracle)
- Familiarity with NodeJS-based development and terminal languages (Bash/PowerShell/CMD Prompt)
