Senior Software Developer
Job Summary
Providing technical leadership for backend and application-layer development, the fully remote Senior Software Developer (.NET Core / Azure Cloud Solution) will design, build, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure while overseeing a portfolio of custom-built VA applications and ensuring compliance with security standards.
Key responsibilities:
- Design, develop, enhance, and sustain the DMC custom-built application portfolio
- Lead the SSRS-to-Power BI migration and WebForms-to-ASP.NET Core modernization efforts
- Provide technical direction and code review to junior developers while maintaining all ATO artifacts
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Prior experience supporting the Department of Veterans Affairs or federal government agencies
- 8+ years of professional software development experience
- Significant experience with Microsoft Azure Cloud Solutions and related technologies
- Proficiency in ASP.NET Core, C#, T-SQL, Power BI, and Kendo UI
