Senior Software Developer
Job Summary
Supporting DTRA's Data Lake and AI/ML initiatives, the full-time Senior Software Developer will design and maintain scalable data pipelines, optimize cloud-based architectures, and develop AI/ML tools while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes for large volumes of threat data
- Build and optimize cloud-based data architectures, integrating with data lakes and external systems via APIs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support analytics, machine learning, and knowledge graph construction
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Data Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field
- 8+ years of experience in data engineering, software development, or ETL development in cloud or enterprise environments
- Proficiency in programming languages and tools such as Python, Java, C++, SQL, and Spark, with hands-on experience in AI/ML frameworks
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and cloud-native data services
- Active Secret or higher security clearance
