Senior Software Developer
Job Summary
Experienced in managing large-scale production systems, the full-time Senior Software Developer (Production) will provide operational support for complex cloud application systems, troubleshoot issues, and ensure compliance with security policies while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Perform high-level operational support and maintenance of cloud systems, addressing outages and resolving technical problems
- Document system issues and communicate status updates to users and management
- Implement continuous improvement methodologies and maintain compliance with VA standards and security policies
Required qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in systems engineering or a related field, particularly in production environments
- Proficiency in AWS and/or Azure Cloud, including experience with S3, CloudWatch, and automation tools
- Strong skills in Linux/Unix and Windows operating systems, along with system administration tasks
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Systems Engineering, or a related field
- U.S. Citizenship required and eligibility for a Public Trust security clearance
