Job Summary
To support Veterans Affairs initiatives, the full-time Senior Software Developer will administer and enhance the Edifecs platform, manage EDI transaction processing, and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a remote work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Administer, configure, troubleshoot, and enhance the Edifecs platform for reliable EDI transaction processing
- Build, deploy, and optimize Edifecs processing rules, routing logic, and batch workflows while analyzing and resolving mapping issues
- Collaborate with EDI Analysts, DevSecOps Engineers, and Cloud teams to support release deployments and system performance
Required qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in EDI, healthcare, or enterprise application operations
- Strong knowledge of EDIFECS architecture and transaction lifecycles
- Experience in Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud environments
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline; equivalent practical experience considered
- Must possess or qualify for a Public Trust security clearance
