Job Summary
To support the Veterans Affairs department, the full-time Senior Software Developer will administer and enhance the Edifecs platform, ensuring reliable EDI transaction processing while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a remote work environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Administer, configure, troubleshoot, and enhance the Edifecs platform for EDI transaction processing
- Build, deploy, and optimize Edifecs processing rules, routing logic, and batch workflows
- Collaborate with EDI Analysts, DevSecOps Engineers, and business teams to resolve mapping issues and performance bottlenecks
Required qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience in EDI, healthcare, or enterprise application operations
- Strong knowledge of EDIFECS architecture and transaction lifecycles
- Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud environments
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
- U.S. Citizenship required for this opportunity
