Job Summary
To support the Veterans Affairs department, the full-time Senior Software Developer will administer and enhance the Edifecs platform, ensuring reliable EDI transaction processing while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Administer, configure, and troubleshoot the Edifecs platform, including building and optimizing processing rules and workflows
- Analyze and resolve mapping issues and performance bottlenecks while managing system logging and JVM tuning
- Support release deployments and collaborate with EDI Analysts and DevSecOps Engineers
Required qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience in EDI, healthcare, or enterprise application operations
- Strong knowledge of EDIFECS architecture and transaction lifecycles
- Experience with AWS cloud environments and EDI integration management
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
- U.S. Citizenship required for this position
