Job Summary
To support the Veterans Affairs department, the full-time Senior Software Developer will administer and enhance the Edifecs platform, focusing on EDI transaction processing while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Administer, configure, troubleshoot, and enhance the Edifecs platform for reliable EDI transaction processing
- Build, deploy, and optimize processing rules, routing logic, and batch workflows while collaborating with cross-functional teams
- Analyze and resolve mapping issues, validation failures, and performance bottlenecks, ensuring system efficiency
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline; equivalent practical experience considered
- 8+ years of experience in EDI, healthcare, or enterprise application operations
- Strong knowledge of EDIFECS architecture and transaction lifecycles
- Extensive experience in Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud environments
- Professional certification in EDIFECS is preferred
