Senior Software Developer

Job Summary

To support a federal government agency, the fully remote Senior Software Developer will design, build, test, and deploy enhancements to Oracle-based grants management and reporting applications, including Oracle Forms and APEX, while managing Agile backlog items from requirements through deployment.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze backlog work orders for grants management applications and provide feasibility assessments and level-of-effort estimates
• Design and enhance Oracle Forms and Reports modules, as well as develop Oracle APEX applications with REST services integration
• Implement code changes for compliance with government mandates and ensure application accessibility standards are met

Required qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of professional software development experience, with at least 5 years in Oracle Forms and Reports development
• Demonstrated competency in PL/SQL, Ruby on Rails, Java, and database management with Oracle, MySQL, and SQL Server
• Experience with federal grants management systems and integrations with Treasury ASAP, FMMI, SAM.gov, or Grants.gov
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred; relevant experience may substitute
• Must be a U.S. Citizen or lawful resident eligible for a Public Trust background investigation
