Job Summary
To support the Veterans Affairs department, the full-time Senior Software Developer (EDI) will manage functional EDI workflows, ensure accurate transaction processing, and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Own functional EDI workflows, partner requirements, and data validation rules
- Interpret and troubleshoot various transaction sets while ensuring compliance with SNIP and companion guides
- Document mapping requirements for new partners and support audit/compliance reviews
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline; equivalent practical experience considered
- 8+ years of experience with Edifecs products in EDI, healthcare, or enterprise application operations
- Strong understanding of EDI X.12 transaction standards and HIPAA compliance requirements
- Experience in Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud environments
- EDIFECS certification preferred
