Job Summary
To support Veterans Affairs operations, the full-time Senior Software Developer (EDI) will manage EDI workflows, ensure accurate transaction processing, and troubleshoot various transaction sets while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Own functional EDI workflows and partner requirements, ensuring accurate transaction processing
- Interpret and troubleshoot transaction sets, including 270/271 and 837, while collaborating with cross-functional teams
- Document mapping requirements for new partners and support audit and compliance reviews
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience
- 8+ years of experience in EDI, specifically with Edifecs products and healthcare operations
- Strong understanding of EDI X.12 transactions and HIPAA compliance requirements
- Experience with AWS cloud environments and Agile methodologies
- EDIFECS certification is preferred
