Job Summary
To support Veterans Affairs initiatives, the full-time Senior Software Developer (EDI) will manage functional EDI workflows, ensure accurate transaction processing, and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Own functional EDI workflows, partner requirements, and data validation rules
- Interpret and troubleshoot various EDI transaction sets while ensuring compliance with SNIP and companion guides
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to resolve issues and maintain data quality
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline; equivalent practical experience considered
- 8+ years of experience in EDI, particularly with X.12 transactions and healthcare compliance
- Strong understanding of payer/provider workflows and experience with Edifecs tools
- Proficiency in Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud environments
- EDIFECS certification is preferred
