Job Summary
Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Senior Software Developer (EDI) will manage functional EDI workflows, ensure accurate transaction processing, and collaborate with various stakeholders to support business operations and compliance in the Veterans Affairs department.
Key responsibilities
- Own and manage functional EDI workflows and data validation rules
- Interpret and troubleshoot various transaction sets while ensuring compliance with SNIP and partner-specific validation rules
- Collaborate with EDI Analysts and DevSecOps Engineers to maintain data quality and support audit reviews
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline; equivalent practical experience considered
- 8+ years of experience with Edifecs products in EDI, healthcare, or enterprise application operations
- Strong understanding of EDI X.12 transaction standards and HIPAA compliance
- Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud environments
- EDIFECS certification is preferred
