Job Summary
To support the Veterans Affairs department, the full-time remote Senior Software Developer (EDI) will manage EDI workflows, ensure accurate transaction processing, and collaborate with various teams to troubleshoot and validate data across healthcare transactions.
Key responsibilities
- Own functional EDI workflows and partner requirements while ensuring accurate transaction processing
- Interpret and troubleshoot various EDI transaction sets and analyze compliance with SNIP and validation rules
- Document mapping requirements for new partners and collaborate with stakeholders for issue resolution
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline; equivalent practical experience considered
- 8+ years of experience with Edifecs products in EDI and healthcare operations
- Strong understanding of EDI X.12 transaction standards and HIPAA compliance requirements
- Experience in AWS cloud environments and Agile methodologies
- EDIFECS certification is preferred
