Job Summary
To support a dynamic team, the full-time Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) will design and implement quality engineering and test automation solutions, collaborating with Agile teams and ensuring software quality standards are met, with options for remote or onsite work for local candidates in Maryland.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the program test strategy, test plans, and automated test frameworks
- Automate functional, integration, and end-to-end testing activities, integrating testing into CI/CD pipelines
- Validate data processing workflows and perform performance testing to ensure operational readiness
Required qualifications
- Minimum 7 years of experience in software quality assurance, testing, or test automation
- At least 3 years of experience developing and maintaining automated test frameworks
- Experience with API, integration, and end-to-end testing in cloud-based applications
- Proficiency in defect management and requirements traceability tools
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical discipline
