Senior Software Development Engineer

Job Summary

To support the development of AI-centered, cloud-native systems, the full-time Senior Software Development Engineer will design, build, and maintain scalable backend services and data pipelines while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain backend services and data pipelines for flight search, pricing, and trip planning services
• Develop and operate scalable distributed systems and large-scale data pipelines, collaborating with data science and engineering teams
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and automated testing to ensure reliable software delivery and system performance

Required qualifications

• Proven experience in professional software development with a focus on backend systems
• Strong proficiency in Java, Scala, and/or Python
• Experience with distributed data processing solutions using technologies like Apache Spark and Kafka
• Familiarity with cloud-native infrastructure and container orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes and AWS
• Solid understanding of CI/CD principles and observability practices for production systems
