Senior Software Development Engineer in Test

Job Summary

Seeking a Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to work remotely, the full-time position focuses on championing quality across the software development lifecycle by implementing holistic test strategies, building automated test frameworks using Playwright and TypeScript, and promoting testing best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement comprehensive test strategies across various testing levels
• Build and maintain robust automated test frameworks using Playwright with TypeScript
• Integrate observability tools and validate real-world performance and resilience in production environments

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in an SDET, QA Automation, or Software Engineering role with a strong focus on testing
• Solid experience with TypeScript and Playwright (or similar browser automation frameworks)
• Strong understanding of testing methodologies across the testing pyramid: unit, component, integration, and E2E
• Experience with AWS and cloud-native application architectures
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and test integration with tools like GitLab or GitHub Actions
