Senior Software Development Engineer in Test
Job Summary
Experienced in test automation, the full-time Senior Software Development Engineer in Test will own the test automation strategy, leverage AI to enhance test coverage, and mentor existing test engineers while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Own the test automation strategy, determining what gets tested and driving automated coverage
- Build and scale the Playwright suite, leading the architecture and implementation of the framework
- Mentor the QA team, coaching test engineers on automation design and AI-assisted workflows
Required qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in test automation or software engineering in test, including framework ownership
- Expertise in Playwright and TypeScript, with production experience in test automation
- Hands-on experience using AI coding agents in test development
- Proficient in multiple programming languages, including JavaScript/TypeScript and at least one backend language such as C#
- Experience testing REST APIs and managing test data, including SQL databases
