Senior Software Development Engineer in Test
Job Summary
A company is looking for a Senior SDET for a remote position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform backend software testing, API testing, and work with large amounts of data with a focus on automated testing
- Manage tasks and responsibilities without constant supervision
- Assist engineers in doing their best work
Required Qualifications:
- At least 5+ years of experience in software testing and QA, with a focus on automated testing
- Proficiency in Jest, Cypress, and at least one of the following programming languages: Node, Python, or Go
- In-depth understanding of CI/CD pipelines and how to integrate automated tests into them
- Strong belief in the value and practice of Test-Driven Development
- Comprehensive grasp of the startup product lifecycle from alpha to beta to GA
