Job Summary
Working remotely, the full-time Senior Software Engineer will design and develop new features for OCI registries, maintain virtual infrastructure, and adopt an AI-first approach to engineering while collaborating with internal teams and mentoring peers.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain and enhance the infrastructure for quay.io using Red Hat OpenShift Service on AWS
- Collaborate with Product Management to influence business and roadmap decisions for quay.io
- Provide architectural guidance and lead post-mortems to improve service reliability and efficiency
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
- Four years of experience with Python, JavaScript, React, Linux, and SQL databases
- Experience with Kubernetes, OpenShift, and SaaS development on AWS
- One year of experience with Agentic coding using Claude Code and/or Cursor
- Proficiency in CI/CD processes and managing web application releases
